Retired National Accounts Manager, Washing Systems
Pictured here with his favorite oversized Omega watch from the 1940s and my dog, Walter, who left him a few years ago.
"My career afforded me the opportunity to travel extensively over the US and Canada. Many days started early in the morning and finished in the early to mid- afternoon. This allowed me to explore and discover many interesting shops and jewelers who shared my passion for vintage, Swiss watches. I still have many friends and contacts across North America and have owned more vintage Swiss watches than I can remember.
I first became aware of the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation while living in Green Bay, WI. My wife, Dr. Michelle Langenfeld, was the Superintendent of Schools for The Green Bay Area School District. Michelle had actually met Doug and Renee LaViolette when several of her Green Bay students were recipients from Brian's Foundation. I learned of Brian's fascination with watches through a mutual friend who introduced me to Doug and Renee. When I understood the impact of the Watch Project, I was honored to be included in the Foundation's "Watch Cabinet". I have tried to help in any way that I can to ensure the project's success.
