"There is no more dedicated and visionary form of commitment to the future success and growth of the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation than a planned gift and it is so easy to do. I chose to make the Foundation a beneficiary of my life insurance proceeds to ensure the continuation of the annual scholarship I fund at Ashwaubenon High School. Please give consideration to joining others who have named the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation in their estate-planning vehicles, such as trusts and wills."
Victoria R. Parmentier
Planned giving offers you the opportunity to leave a gift of lasting significance to the Brian LaViolette Foundation, while providing tax and other financial benefits to you, your family and your estate.
Effective planned giving depends on making informed decisions about what to give, when and how. Different possibilities include charitable gift annuities, lead trusts, gifts of life insurance or appreciated securities and bequests.

Scholarship of Honor Programs
Thank you again for your interest in sponsoring a scholarship in our Scholarship of Honor program. With your help, not only will we honor our fallen military heroes, but also touch the lives of many others-- families that are grieving, friends who are looking to remember, and a grateful nation honoring its heroes. You will also recognize our selfless young people who have chosen to follow in the footsteps of these heroes through military and other public service careers after high-school graduation.
It is the Foundation's goal to maintain a $15,000 long-term capital endowment held in trust for each Scholarship of Honor. This will support a minimum annual scholarship award of $750 to help cover a portion of the cost of medals, plaques, and printed materials. Annual interest also helps fund costs associated with administration of the scholarships.
Major individual sponsors or community-wide fundraising efforts are needed to support each Scholarship of Honor. Payment to an endownment can be made over a two-year period. Once a scholarship is fully endowed, the award will be presented annually. Currently we present awards in ten states.

International Scholarship of Honor
The International Scholarship of Honor is an extension of the Scholarship of Honor Program, recognizing youth around the world for their commitment to community, world peace, and education. To establish a scholarship abroad, we are looking for donors who have a good relationship with a person or group who can help coordinate logistics and follow-up details. Currently we support scholarship programs in Poland and South Africa.
