Medalcraft's design features a stunning high relief double portrait of President Bush and Vice President Cheney on the front side and a flag with soaring eagle on the back side.

Initially, the reverse side had a flag with a soaring eagle and about 7,000 solid bronze medals were produced. In early January 2005, the reverse design was changed to the traditional Presidential Seal.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee commissioned the following commemoratives:

  • Limited Edition sets including the solid fine silver and bronze medals and solid 14KT gold coin
  • Limited Edition 2.75" solid .999 fine silver medals
  • 2.75" bronze medals
  • 1.5" bronze coins in commemorative coin card
  • 1.25" solid 14KT gold coins (only available in the Limited Edition sets)
