“I was absolutely touched to receive this scholarship, especially as it honors Riley’s journey. I am glad this scholarship exists to consider not only what an individual achieved, but what it took to get there.”

“I would like to extend my gratitude towards you and the people involved in the selection process for the NWTC Brian LaViolette Scholarship. The scholarship truly means a lot to me and my personal confidence and overall process of going to college. In receiving this, I will continue my goals of being as successful and motivated as I possibly can in achieving my goal of being a Medical Laboratory Technician.
It overall takes a lot of pressure off the financial part of college, so I can focus on the educational part of it more than I would have. Thank you so much for the scholarship, as it means a lot to me and my family.”
Dustin Olsen, NWTC Scholarship recipient, Oconto High School

“This scholarship means commitment. It means sacrifice, service and above all, honor. I am beyond grateful for not only the monetary reward of this scholarship but the honor it bestows. It opens so many more opportunities to serve and it gives me the confidence and encouragement to continue on this path I am taking. Even though it is different than Danny’s I still will serve with his same heart and bravery.“

“Not only does this scholarship help support young aspiring teachers, but it’s a true demonstration of how education can impact one’s life. After hearing how Ashwaubenon High School had impacted Ms. Parmentier’s life and why she gives back to those looking to become teachers, it really made me confident in the profession I am choosing to pursue.
Education is such a useful tool and something that no one can take away from you. It has opportunity to change lives for younger generations to come. This scholarship is helping me pursue a career of my dreams and for that I am eternally grateful; not only to Ms. Victoria Parmentier but also the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation."

“Thank you so much for awarding me the scholarship in Nichole’s memory. It is an honor and privilege for me to receive it. I take this gift very seriously and will do my best to honor Nichole in the best way I possibly can."
Levi Potter, 2018 Nichole Frye Scholarship of Honor recipient
"A foundation such as the one you have built is a godsend to students such as myself. What this scholarship means to me is that there are people out there who believe in the student who may not be top of their class, but who will strive for greatness and will not put their schooling to waste.
During freshman and sophomore year, I struggled in school and maintaining grades. This hindered my opportunity to be at the top of my class, rather than ending up right in the middle. Junior year I decided to work harder and put more time into my work than before. This effort was then carried into senior year and will stay with me through college and beyond, especially since I have to pay for school. Once again, thank you for this amazing gift.”
