Rachel Bosveld Scholarship of Honor

Rachel Bosveld, 19, Waupun, WI
Rachel graduated from Waupun High School in 2002. She entered into the Army right after Graduation. Sadley, she was the first woman from Wisconsin to die in the Iraqi conflict on October 26, 2003.
Rachel was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart on what would have been her 20th birthday.
Her brother Craig described his sister as an artist who loved to draw forest scenes, play the violin and act in her high school drama club. She hoped one day to become a graphic artist.
