The Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation released “The Journey is The Reward: A story of courage, hope, and inspiration” by Doug, Renee, and Kim LaViolette with Karolyn A. Gazella on January 23, 2003, Brian’s 26th Birthday.
"This book is about healing from loss," explained Gazella. "It is a spiritual journey that describes the LaViolettes' story. However, there are also stories of others who have experienced loss, as well as practical information about how to cope with loss."
The book was written to help others along their journey--especially those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. All proceeds from the sale of this book will go directly to the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation. "Our goal is to award more scholarships next year than ever before, and at the same time, help others heal," explained Doug.
