Vintage Pedre Ladies’ Watch

Donated in loving memory of Gloria Simon

This elegant vintage Pedre ladies’ watch was generously donated by our dear friend Franklin Simon in memory of his beloved wife, Gloria. More than a timepiece, it reflects her life and style, making this gift especially meaningful.

The watch features a gold-tone square cushion-shaped 20.9 mm case with decorative trim, a textured gold-tone dial, and a black textured band, likely crafted from lizard or similar fine skin.

Marked “Pedre” and “17 Jewels,” it has a traditional mechanical movement rather than quartz, typical of the quality jeweled Swiss-made pieces produced by Pedre, the New York company founded in 1944. This watch likely dates from the 1950s or 1960s.

While its full service history is unknown, it is running and retains its timeless charm while honoring the woman who wore it with such grace.

We are deeply grateful to Franklin for sharing this beautiful part of Gloria’s story with us.

$225 includes shipping and handling within the continental United States
